Marine Service and Repair Overview
Here at Hoffman’s, it’s our goal for every one of our visitors to have a smooth and easy visit. If you’re here for service or repair, you’ll find a helpful, responsive crew dedicated to solving your problems and getting you on your way with confidence. We have an array of amenities to make your visit as pleasant as possible, including an onsite restaurant, infinity swimming pool, free wi-fi, showers, high-speed fuel pumps and pump-out services. We’re conveniently located just half a mile from the Manasquan Inlet, offering quick and easy access to the Atlantic and the Intracoastal Waterway. Spring Commissioning
After your boat has spent a long winter in storage, it’s critical to bring it back into service correctly. We can undo all the ways it was put away for the winter, and make sure all systems are fully operational, properly maintained and ready to go.
Bottom Painting
Maximize your boat’s performance and longevity with regular bottom painting. This is key to preventing organisms from growing on your hull, which can have a negative impact on your speed and performance, and cause deterioration. Our bottom painting service is available to powerboats, boats on trailers and brand new boats, including barrier coat and sandblast services. As a leader in serving commercial and large vessels, we can lift crafts up to 160,000lbs.
Winterization
Winterizing your boat is so important to ensure that it looks, smells and works its best when spring arrives. Failure to winterize properly is an invitation to damaged electronics, corroded wires or plugs, a moldy interior and other potential problems. We take care of a checklist of critical activities so you don’t have to, such as cleaning the interior and the hull, disconnecting electronics, storing batteries, flushing the engine, and draining fluids such as fuel and oil. We’ll tend properly to your engine and include a courtesy inspection of your boat and trailer. Additionally, we can shrink-wrap your boat and dry-store it for the season.
